CSG Names Carlette Johnson as Recipient of the CSG Excellence in Patient Care & Service Award
Connecticut Surgical Group, PC is pleased to announce that Carlette Johnson, Medical Assistant in the General/Colorectal Surgery division, has been named the recipient of the 2008 CSG Excellence in Patient Care & Service Award.
"Carlette consistently exemplifies the highest possible standard of patient care, service and teamwork, and she is an outstanding member of our team, said Doug McKell, Chief Administrative Officer. "She was nominated for this award by numerous physicians and staff who work with her every day and who shared numerous examples of times when Carlette when above and beyond our expectations to make sure that a patient was treated with extraordinary care."
"Patients are frequently anxious when seeing a colorectal surgeon," said William Sardella, MD. "Carlette's calm, comforting demeanor is very reassuring to our patients. She is very dedicated to CSG and its values, and she is an outstanding team player." Dr. Sardella, along with his colorectal surgery partners, Drs. Cohen, Vignati, and Johnson, and several other managers and team members of Carlette's, each nominated her for this presigious CSG Award.
CSG created the Excellence in Patient Care and Service Award in 2006 in honor of Ardean Brown, an employee who was outstanding in her devotion to the highest possible standard of patient care and service. The first recipient of the Award, Karen Slavin, was named in 2007.
